Paris is already too cute and add the holidays and its just on another level! I loved the Christmas fair on the Champs Elysees. I got great photos there for my photo project. Observing people acting naturally is one of the most interesting and refreshing things to do.
Here are some of the great sites I captured for my project. I loved this experience as a way to consciously noticed the connection I made to Paris. This one of the reflection of the reflection of the Eiffel Tower and tourist on a rainy day at the Trocadero is my favorite.
The flyer for our photo project. A student posed for this. While I personally would not. I admire the artistic expression. It was from a student’s photo series, with a home status theme. The teacher encouraged us to embrace the natural and I enjoyed having that influence to be genuine with our work. I chose some blurry photos to emphasize my theme of the passerby sights in Paris.
My first semester in Paris was enjoyable, but challenging of course! It was my first time living alone, but more importantly the language challenge pushed me out of my comfort zone. I was in a small, quite old studio, but I wouldn’t change the experience for anything. I’m so glad I decided to stay for another semester which was even richer!!
