Under $50- mom jeans & off the shoulder look

Can you believe that we’re in the second week of May! Although we all dream of summer, it’s coming a bit too fast. Here’s a perfect transition look especially if you’re on the East Coast because it’s still in the 50s/60s. I’m highlighting mom jeans with this ‘fit that’s under $50!

I love mom jeans because they’re not too fitted like skinnies and not too baggy like boyfriend jeans. They’re high-waisted with a bit of a vintage look as they tribute the originals from the 90s. Plus they are usually distressed and make for a casual yet put together look with the high waist.

A thrift pair of Levi’s is the epitome of this style. I found the best pair from Frip’Star in Paris a few years ago. They were a perf dark denim, but I seem to have misplaced them! – I don’t know if it’s just me, but I have a list of clothes that I love that I can’t seem to find. In fact, I can’t even narrow it down to a state. I have clothes from college in Florida, things in Atlanta, and the rest here in NY. Oh wardrobe perils!

But about these mom jeans; they’re from ASOS they were under $30.

I paired them with this off the shoulder striped top that I found in the Zara sale for $9.99. I’m sure looking forward to their sale starting next month.

These faux fur mules were a DIY post and took a pair of $10 Forever 21 mules and trimming.

This season I’m uping my choker game and rocking two. See them in my shop: thin gold choker, and this metallic choker. Also I’m so into dark metallic lips!

I also love these photos! It’s by far my best shoot to date! By @shootwithjay
