To cap off 2017, I attended a winter wedding for a childhood friend. -It’s most definitely wedding seasons and I love weddings during this time of year, especially when they call for black tie.
I went with this black beaded number of the magnolia themed wedding. It had been over a year since I was last in my hometown of Tallahassee, Florida and I saw people I hadn’t seen since high school. It’s also so warming to catch up with childhood friends and celebrate love! It’s crazy how we go away to college and can lose touch with people with whom we spent our pivotal years together. For the new year, I’m going to work on keeping in touch with people more.
About the dress: It is essentially a black fitted tube dress with attachable sleeves. This dress is currently on sale and under $200. The drama had me feeling like a star. The only thing is it was just the right length for me (I’m just under 5’6″) so if you’re much taller it might come up a little short. I live for occasions to get fully dressed up. I should be adding this number soon to my Poshmark- (my shop-@asa385).
Below I’m sharing other picks for winter weddings, and warmer temperature weddings, all under $200:
I also ordered this dress because it’s sultry & a steal at $34. ASOS sale sure is amazing.
Love this purple shade and this Lipsy dress is $60
Love this kimono vibe for $34 as well.
Warmer Temps:
I’ve never worn a dress like this before, but think it could be a daring look with a slicked back bun.
For a cocktail dress code, This! It’s now $22 dollars and that rose band is everything!
Loving the top of this dress with lace and appliqué.
