It’s October and Fall is well underway. I’ve already been christened with my first cold of the season. Today, I’m sharing how to wear Ankara in the Fall. I love how trends are so cyclical. Bustiers and corsets are so on trend again along with these flare bottom jeans. Scroll down for the links.

Not seen: a safety pin and a hair clip I used to make the top fit. Don’t think it’s evident in the photos, but this red print corset is a few sizes too large. I wait to buy Ankara on sale because I’m used to getting it for the low in Ghana or made by Momma Ro. I got this corset in the Grassfields sale and there were only large sizes left. Have you checked out their site? They’ve become the go-to for Ankara. At Curl Fest, I spotted so many of their print styles. 

Back in the day, I had a pair of flare Seven7 jeans that I loved. This style can be elongating. I got them from Fashionnova. 

New to my Etsy shop are these black long tassels. I love this long tassel style! More colors to come.

I topped it off with my fav Jimmy Choo orange pumps because they’re so comfortable. Hope another pair is soon in my future.
