More than likely you will be heading to the Formation World Tour or if not (I’m not sure why you would miss gettin your life lol) to a festival or concert this summer. Here are some fun outfit ideas:
-A “Formation” inspired look
This includes chokers and large silver bib necklaces and black clothing or maybe a Lemonade dress.
I went to the Atlanta Formation Tour stop on May 1 and here is what I wore. The lace cold shoulder top is a trendy nod to the Victorian style theme of the album. Chokers have made a big comeback and I wore this light pink one with a silver charm and chain. Top is also from Zara.
If you’re not getting in formation until September, you can add a structured black hat to bop your head like Bey. Just make sure that the brim is not so big that it blocks other concert-goers view! Check these from ASOS that go with county-rocker vibes of the album:
Adding a sleeveless vest or leather jacket would also be really cute.
-Apparel with lyrics
This is a fun idea that a lot of people are doing, sporting lyrics on tops and hats and even matching with friends. I went to the second show of the tour so I didn’t have enough time to marinate on the album nor to buy or make a shirt lol. Etsy Shirts:
I love the one that comes with a “I ain’t sorry” tumblr for your pre-concert lemonade of course.
You could also go the DIY route and have a pre-concert shirt making party.
-Footwear
Because you don’t want to be struggling walking down the stairs of the arena in “six inch heels” here are some block heel and kick options.
If you’re going in the fall you could wear a lace-up heeled bootie, a Beyonce closet staple.
